Certified or Notarized Translations

I provide certified translations of official documents such as birth, marriage, divorce, and death certificates, driver’s licenses, passports, diplomas, medical records, academic records, immigration documents, etc. I can also provide a notarized certification to accompany your translation.

To have your official documents translated…

  • If you are on a tight deadline, please contact me at [email protected] to make sure I am available.
  • E-mail a clear, scanned, or photographed copy of your documents to me at [email protected]. In the body of your e-mail, please include your name, phone number, the address to which you would like the translations mailed, and any special instructions.
  • I will respond to you with an exact quote and a turnaround time. For three or fewer pages, turnaround time is normally two business days.
  • For formatted documents such as birth, marriage, and death certificates I charge a flat rate of $65 per page. A certificate of accuracy is $20 and a notarization $25 (per project).
  • Payment is in advance, by PayPal or check. PayPal allows you to pay by credit card or checking account transfer without having a PayPal account. If you pay by check, turnaround time begins when I receive your check.
  • My fee includes returning your translations and certification by regular postal mail. If you need your translations faster, I can send them by FedEx, Express Mail, etc. and bill you for the cost. Your will also receive an e-mailed PDF-version of your translated documents.
  • If necessary, I an happy to send your translations to a third party, such as an international credentials evaluation service, college, or university admissions office, etc.
  • Please note: I cannot give U.S. equivalents of the grades, degrees, or credentials on your German documents. For this, you need to contact a credentials evaluation service. In my translations, I am also unable to correct mistakes on your documents.

Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] if you have any additional questions.
